Zamboanga famed Pink Sands

Even before came the famous resorts in Boracay, and the highly priced get aways of Palawan, there already was the Pink Sands Island of Sta Cruz, this two islands, ( named big and small islands ) can be reached from Zamboanga city thru boat either a ferry or a local bangka or sailboats used by fishermen for a living. Its rare pink sand beach stretches to up to three miles! Thus this considered the island rare, around the world there are few beaches that have the same kind of pink sands like in Horsehoe bay in Bermuda, Culebra in Puerto Rico, Maui in Hawaii, Santurini in Greece and Crane beach in Barbados. Pretty awesome huh?!
Now where on earth does this pink sands came? the number of red organ pipe corals that nestles on the oceoan floor of thw islands is the culprit, and these corals too are considered to be unique.
